Small place but all you need inside... Great donuts too!
Nice grocery store. A bit more expensive than Wal-Mart for some things but far more pleasant and cleaner with a better selection of more interesting items. Let's face it, produce in Socorro simply sucks - it's the town the jolly green giant abandoned- but Brooks does a good job with what they have. They have a sad little section of organic produce but it's more than Wal-Mart offers. The bakery is good, the sales are usually excellent, the shelves are always stocked, and the wine and liquor department is great as far as selection and price. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
What a great small town supermarket. Fresh produce, excellent meat quality, and wonderful prices, even before the sale flyers. My only market.
Has Hereferd beef which is from hereferd tx which is only 3.5 hours away, always fresh always excellent! Great beer and alcohol selection. Fried chicken the deli smells great but leaves something to be desired. Breakfast burritos hefty and pretty good. The staff is always friendly.
Good selection of interesting foods to try. Deli and bakery are fantastic. Parking is cruddy for really large vehicles. Super nice employees.
