Suggest this is a place that is way prettier in the spring and summer when the cottonwoods have leaves--looked kinda desolate in January..but a good place to call home when tiring of the hotel options. Some road and train noise but hey that's nobody's fault.

Great access to town with decent bathroom facilities and somewhat clean tables and camping areas. We camped there for five days and saw a bald eagle at the nearby well stocked lake and made friends with the local cats. Sandhill cranes flew over pretty much the whole time we were camping there. They have water and electrical hookups and firewood for sale nearby.
