Food was warm at best. Wasn’t fresh. Bad choice

China best buffet is decent little establishment. A few perks I must say are a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, and an attentive waitress. Do not come here for world class oriental eats however. Most of the food available at the buffet appears to have been sitting out for quite a while. Most of the food is mislabeled. Not so good for those whom may have food allergies mind you. Other food items have been thrown in bins with other food with which they do not belong. If however you are quite in the mood for cheap Chinese eats it is edible, and isn't too terrible. Not bad for being the only Chinese restaurant for quite a ways. But compared to other restaurant in the area this one really should raise their own bar a bit.
Staff walking around with cell phone on speaker talking loudly, buffet not replenished, drinks never refilled despite only 4 occupied tables. The guy from the kitchen was super nice!
My boyfriend and I come here a few times a month. We often go purely because it is a buffet and the only buffet in town. As mentioned in other reviews the food often sits out for a while and is mislabeled. The dinner buffet has more seafood than the lunch menu and runs about $25 for two. There is usually one very attentive waitress that is almost always there...unfortunately, she was not there the last night and why I am writing this review. There was an older gentlemen that was sitting in a place where he couldn't see us walk in. It wasn't until my boyfriend went to use the bathroom that he greeted us. I ordered sweet tea and sprite for our drinks. He delivered the drinks to the table while we were getting our food. He brought the wrong drinks and did not come back to correct his mistake for the duration of the meal. The absolute worst part was that he got a phone call shortly after we started eating and put the call on speaker phone. He was speaking so loudly in a foreign language that we couldn't hear ourselves think. He was on speaker phone for the duration of our dinner. We were the only people in the place when we left. As we were leaving we noticed he had parked his luxury vehicle right in front of the doors of the restaurant. Maybe he's the owner...who knows...It was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while.
