A cool place for photo op. Amazing to see the array antennas etc. I would like to stop here again to take better photos during dusk.

Being born at the beginning of the space age, I've always been interested in anything related to outer space. I visited the VLA and went back twice over two days to wander around out there and look the amazing setup in the middle of nowhere. I love getting away to isolated places like this and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Visiting here would not be for someone who gets bored quickly and requires a lot of stimulation to stay engaged. But, if you enjoy tranquility and vast open spaces, where you can sit quietly and contemplate the universe and how insignificant we are, this may be the place for you...
